Level Up Home Improvement Services LLC of Ann Arbor is owner operated. What that means is John, the owner, is fully invested in each kitchen and bathroom remodeling project and handles all communications with you personally. I am a licensed and insured builder in the State of Michigan--and all our work is warrantied for one year.
We deliver professional kitchen and bathroom remodeling at a fair price. As a small Ann Arbor company, we have lower prices than our competition for two reasons: 1) low overhead and 2) as an owner-operated company the customer isn't paying for a lot of extra guys sitting around watching the work get done.
We are a word-of-mouth business in Ann Arbor. Satisfied customers are the key to our kitchen and bathroom remodeling business success. We strive for clear communication, clean work sites, and honest, up-front pricing.

The first thing we do at the beginning of any job is to walk through the project and write down all the job specifications as part of our contract with each other. Then, when the job is completed, we go back through that "checklist" to make sure you are completely satisfied. All of our workmanship comes with a one-year warranty. Part of our commitment is to work with you to solve any issues that arise.
We can give you a free estimate one of two ways:
A standard estimate for the project, with a defined scope of work, and a general price range per square foot depending on the materials you choose. Once you agree to hire us, we can give you a detailed estimate with exact prices based on your design choices with room to make changes as the project proceeds.
Or we can work based on a "time and material" contract for most jobs. In that case, our free estimate includes the approximate range of time we think it will take to get the job done right and the hourly rate we charge for that project. The better the information that we get from you, the more accurate that will be. Once you hire us, we will work together to purchase the right materials for the job and at the quality you desire. And if you want to add services--no problem--the hourly rate stays the same.
We understand that this work can be a major intrusion into your life and will work with you to find times that work for both parties. We promise to communicate with you every step of the way.
On smaller jobs, you will be invoiced at the completion of the job and can pay via cash, check, PayPal or via credit card. For bigger jobs, or for jobs with a lot of expensive materials, we will ask for a down payment (up to 50%) up front. The remainder will be due at the completion of the job or at intervals we agree upon before the project begins.
You know what they say in the building world: Prior Planning Prevents Poor Projects. Good projects need well-thought out designs. Permit applications will vary in the amount of time each municipality takes to review them. Subcontractors are very busy and need extra time often to schedule. The bigger the project, the more lead time that is needed--scheduling in advance is critical!
